ANZCA membership is annual and is based on the calendar year, 1st January to 31st December.
People joining or renewing later in the year are entitled to all journals published in that year, provided that there are sufficient copies in stock.
People who join after the Annual General Meeting have complimentary membership for the rest of that year and financial membership for the following year.
Annual membership includes:
Four issues of Communication Research and Practice
Four issues of Media International Australia incorporating Culture and Policy
Reduced conference fees
Access to the ANZCA information network, including mailing lists
Full voting rights at the Annual General Meeting, if attending (no proxies)
Right to stand for election to the ANZCA Executive
Individual membership: $220 per annum
Full-time postgraduate students are entited to a reduced membership fee, currently $90 per annum.
Goods and Services Tax
ANZCA is exempt from collecting the Australian GST because its turnover is less than the current threshold.
ANZCA membership may be tax deductible.

ANZCA is canvassing for two types of donation – general donations and donations targetted at the postgraduate bursary and other support programs. Just click on the “Donate” button below the left-hand menu. Existing members are able to donate when renewing through their individual profile pages. Please note that donations to ANZCA are not tax deductible.
Just log in using the details you provided initially and renew your membership from your profile page.

Membership renewals are due on the 1st January and members who have not paid their annual subscription by the 28th February are deemed unfinancial.
